Disclaimer- The following article, last edited 9th May 2017, is an approximate guide to another company's service, and as such, we cannot guarantee the information below is up to date or 100% accurate.
As this is unqualified advice, we always suggest to speak with your accountant, or with the Xero team for any assistance with your Xero account. We will offer all the assistance available, but do not assume any of the responsibility.
CREATE XERO ACCOUNT
The following is a guide to creating a Xero account, which you can then integrate with your Hike account.
SIGN UP TO XERO
Search the internet for Xero: Accounting Software & Online Bookkeeping. You will be directed to a regional website. If in Australia, would be the website address: https://www.xero.com/au/
Review the information at your leisure, ask questions of the Xero team, and do not proceed until you are comfortable with your decision.
Whether you decide to subscribe now or to commence the free trial, you will be asked to complete the following registration details. In the below screenshot, I have chosen the free trial, though it is similar when you subscribe.
Note, Xero will send a confirmation email to your email account, and will not let you use the same email address to sign up for another trial.
ADD YOUR ORGANISATION...
You will be asked to advise details of your business. A window typically pops up when you click the START TRIAL or BUY NOW button, advising to check your email to confirm your account
CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL
In your inbox, click the email to confirm your account
YOUR XERO ACCOUNT IS READY
clicking the link in the email will take you straight to your Xero account.
If you have just created your Xero account, we would recommend reviewing the support documents in Xero to use Xero independently of Hike.
