You can choose to reward your customers with Loyalty Points, and control how they earn points.
There are several ways to manage Loyalty points, but they all begin with Activating Loyalty Points.
Assuming you have done this, lets look at the three ways to affect Loyalty Points.
ADD OR EDIT POINTS
There is no option to directly add or edit the loyalty points balance. They always have to be earned.
OPTION 1: EARN LOYALTY POINTS FROM SIGN UP
You can edit the number of points a customer can earn when you sign them up to Hike.
When customers first have their details added to Hike, they are automatically assigned however many points you set.
Refer to the article Overview Loyalty points for instructions how to edit the above screen.
OPTION 2: EARN LOYALTY POINTS FROM MONEY SPENT
You can edit the number of points a customer can earn when they make a purchase, as per the above screen.
When customers are signed up to the Loyalty program and make a purchase, they automatically earn points for every dollar/pound/euro/(chosen currency) earned
OPTION 3: EARN LOYALTY POINTS FROM MONEY SPENT ON SPECIFIC PRODUCTS
You can edit the number of points a customer can earn from a particular product.
Simply go to Product in Products > Products section, and edit the product in question.
In the Loyalty Points field, type in how many points you wish to award. For example, if you enter the number 20, if the customer is assigned to the sale, and purchases that product, they will receive 20 points.
VALUE OF LOYALTY POINTS
You can affect how many points are rewarded, but it helps to know the value of the points.
100 Loyalty Points = 1 Dollar / Pound / Lira / Euro / (chosen currency)
If a customer earns 100 Loyalty Points, they can use this to pay 1 dollar/Pound/etc towards a purchase.
