CREATE SHOPIFY ACCOUNT
The following is a guide to creating a MailChimp account, which you can then integrate with your Hike account.
SIGN UP TO SHOPIFY
Search the internet for MailChimp Marketing Automation. You will be directed to a regional website.
Review the information at your leisure, ask questions of the MailChimp team, and do not proceed until you are comfortable with your decision.
Click the Sign Up Free button when ready.
START YOUR TRIAL
You will be asked to complete your email and create a user name to commence a free trial.
Note, MailChimp will send a confirmation email to your email account.
Confirm you are human
You will be asked to do some tasks to prove you’re not a robot. Click on the I’m Not A Robot to start.
ADD YOUR DETAILS
When done, you will be asked to advise a few details of your business.
The name associated with your account profile. The profile is unique to you and can have access to multiple MailChimp accounts.
- Email Address
The email address where MailChimp contact you. Make sure it is an email address you have access to. The reply email address that you use to send emails can be different from this email address.
- Organization Questions
Details about your company.
- Organization Name
The name of your company or organization. It will appear on every email with your physical mailing address.
- Website URL
The website URL for your company, organization, or personal website. This can be the website for your blog, social networking profile, or personal landing page. MailChimp use the URL for a few reasons, like to verify your account for compliance purposes.
- Physical Address
The mailing address where you can receive mail. Ideas for a physical address include your personal address, business address, or a P.O. Box.
- Connect social media
Share your campaigns with followers and create social posts.
After you type in the information, follow the prompts to finish the process and log into your new MailChimp account.
One last step, if you are willing to receive any information from Mailchimp, check the option you want. If not, simply click “Let’s Go!” to finish your set up.
YOUR MailChimp ACCOUNT IS READY
You have now created a MailChimp account.
